Elly is the eldest sibling in the Sharp family and has been a Director of Tirohanga Fruit Company Limited since March 2023, and previously CEO for nearly three years. Elly led the business through significant change at that time as Ray and Lis moved into retirement.
Elly is a Director at EastPack Ltd and plays an active role in various Kiwifruit industry working groups. She has been a dedicated participant in the industry since 2014, initially as a Market Access Manager at Zespri and, more recently, with the family business.
Before her current role, she spent a decade at Fonterra, operating in New Zealand and internationally. Her most recent position as the Regional Supply Chain Manager for the Southern Cone Region of South America has equipped her with a diverse skill set that she can readily leverage.
Elly lives in Ohope Beach and enjoys the lifestyle and also enjoys painting, photography, interior design, and living in nature in her spare time.
