David manages our Te Kaha and Omaio orchards. He is an experienced Orchard Manager, with knowledge in all things kiwifruit, from development to harvest, and everything in between.
Don’t be fooled by the grumpy exterior he’s a big softie! But like any classic rural kiwi bloke, he grumbles when it rains and takes it to heart when the wind blows. He is totally and utterly passionate about growing good quality kiwifruit and plenty of it. You will often see him travelling the road down the coast with a furrowed brow, knowing that the weather might not play ball, as he wanders around the vines talking to the buds like they are his babies.
