Seasonal Positions For Harvest

We are heading towards full swing in our annual harvest which will run through to May/June.

We are accepting registrations of interest for seasonal positions for harvest and winter pruning.

What’s involved?

The role of winter pruning and other vine work is to competently work in the kiwifruit vines, including all varieties of the orchards that the company owns and manages. Duties include stringing, pruning, weeding, and other various vine work.

Important information

  • Pay rate is a minimum of $23.70 per hour + 8% holiday pay
  • Hours of work vary between Monday to Sunday, 6am to 7pm (weather dependent)
  • Fixed term employment agreement

While experience in the kiwifruit industry is an advantage, it’s unnecessary. We are more interested in attributes like a strong work ethic, reliability and a positive attitude. A passion and interest in horticulture is a bonus! Seasonal work is physically demanding, so applicants must be physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
